Apples have been shown to help produce additional saliva just as pears and other crunchy foods that have a high water content. When there’s additional saliva in your mouth, it can help neutralize acids that could potentially damage your teeth and gums. Also, eat foods that are high in the minerals calcium and phosphorus since they can mineralize your tooth enamel.
