Uraya Johnson

Shawna Martindale I am native of Kansas City, Missouri. I obtained a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Friends University in 2002, while working as a Police Officer for the Kansas City, MO Police Department. It was there that I met and married my husband Terry, and we relocated to Des Moines. In 2005, I received a B.S. in Dental Hygiene from the University of Missouri - Kansas City. When I'm not helping you protect your smile, I join my fellow soldiers for monthly Army Reserve training back in Kansas City. On weekends that I don't have military obligations to fulfill, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family who reside in the Kansas City area. So, if you see my drive by you on I-35, wave...or better yet, smile!

I am proud to be a part of a dental team who promotes and protects the oral health status of both children and adults. I strive to stay abreast of new technology and dental standards to provide and recommend the best treatment to my patients.
